Assessment procedure change workshops

Associate Professor Christine Slade (Assessment Lead, ITaLI) and Dom McGrath (Teaching and Learning Manager, ITaLI) are delivering a series of workshops with teaching staff in each Faculty to help them navigate through the assessment procedure changes required for implementation in Semester 2 2022.

These changes include limiting the total number of assessment tasks for 2-unit courses to four and limiting the number of assessment sequences to one.

Workshop participants will be able to:

• Recognise the goals of the policy change and the impact of over-assessment
• Explore examples and good practice
• Design and articulate compliant assessment schedules.
