The University of Queensland’s annual Teaching and Learning Awards were presented last night [Monday 28 October 2019] during a ceremony at Customs House celebrating excellence, creativity and innovation.
National and UQ teaching award winner Dr Tammy Smith shares her journey of applying for teaching and learning awards, grants and fellowships across her career. A rewarding experience but not all smiles and celebrations. She offers guidance for others in navigating the hard work, time commitment and emotional process of putting yourself out there for judgement.
The University of Queensland’s Critical Development Perspectives edX course has received an international Award of Excellence from the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
The Awards for Teaching Excellence recognise individuals and teams who make a substantial contribution to enhancing the quality of learning and teaching at The University of Queensland.
