This special event celebrates the innovative and inspiring work of BEL educators who are significantly enriching our student experience.

You are invited to join us for our annual celebration event which brings together Faculty of Science staff who both contribute to and support our Teaching and Learning endeavours. We will reflect on the past year, gain insight into new practices, and enjoy a delicious afternoon tea to catch up with colleagues!

The Faculty of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences is committed to encouraging and recognising outstanding contributions to teaching and learning. The Faculty will celebrate its top teachers at an awards function on 3 November in the Dr Mary Mahoney Ampitheatre from 3-5pm.

The launch of the Indigenising Curriculum at UQ: Teaching and Learning Guide marks an important milestone in UQ's commitment to embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledges, perspectives and ways of knowing across learning and teaching.

What does student feedback across the university tell us about creating more inclusive learning experiences? This session examines recent patterns in student evaluation (SECaT) data from across UQ, surfacing key insights into students' experiences and what they mean for our teaching. We'll identify practical ways educators can respond to develop inclusive spaces that support student participation and success.

Facilitate an interactive table discussion focused on a current teaching and learning issue, innovation, or challenge. Sessions are intended to spark conversation, share experiences, and generate practical insights rather than deliver a formal presentation.
