Inspera Assessment

UQ's digital assessment platform

Inspera Assessment is a cloud-based digital assessment platform that offers new and exciting assessment possibilities at UQ.

Inspera Assessment supports various assessment types, including digital on-campus and at-home exams.

The platform covers the whole assessment cycle, from planning to authoring, delivery, grading and feedback.

Students can access their assessment either through a link in their Learn.UQ course site, or directly at uqi.inspera.com.

Inspera add-ons

Within an Inspera assessment, you can elect to use the following add-ons.

Inspera Safe Exam Browser

A lockdown browser used only for invigilated on-campus BYOL (BYO Laptop) exams. Students download an app that 'holds' them in Inspera Assessment while they are completing their on-campus exam. UQ has successfully been running on-campus exams using Inspera Safe Exam Browser since Semester 1 2021.

Inspera Exam Portal

A new advanced lockdown browser that can be used for "record and review" invigilated at-home exams. Students need to download an app that disables screen capturing capabilities, such as screenshots and screen recording, and also disables the print function so exam content cannot easily be shared. UQ is piloting Inspera Exam Portal in 2022.

Inspera Smarter Proctoring

Inspera Exam Portal with the added functionality for “live proctoring”. This component has a tentative release date of Semester 2 2022.
