Teaching and Learning (T&L) Week

This presentation explores how AI learning companions can preserve learner agency, encourage productive thinking, and promote durable learning rather than simply improving immediate performance. It also introduces a platform developed and supported by UQ that incorporates AI learning companions, and explores how educators can integrate it into their teaching.

How do we understand and support the dynamic, complex changes students experience throughout their learning journeys at UQ? Join staff and students from across the University as they share how they are putting UQ's Transition Framework into practice, and how they measure, sustain, and amplify student success.

This project is a collaboration between UQ Higher Degree by Research (HDR) candidates, researchers, the School of Psychology, and the Graduate Research School. Central to the project is the 2026 WERC Survey, which gathered data from a large sample of UQ HDR candidates.
